There is a lot more to agility than first meets the eye. Agility requires a great relationship between handler and dog. Each dog must develop good body awareness and understand the obstacles while the handler needs to be able to communicate to the dog and learn how to execute the course. 

Ruth offers private, semi-private, and small group agility classes in Stillwater, MN.   

Each year the sport of agility is demanding more and more from our canine athletes and the number of injuries in the sport is on the rise. In addition, many of our retired athletes, family pets, and aging seniors need daily activities that keep them moving, healthy, and fit.  A conditioning and fitness program builds strength, flexibility, endurance, improves balance, and enhances a dog's mental abilities. Developing a strong body and mind will serve to improve performance and aid in creating a better quality of life.

Canine Musical Freestyle is a fun sport for people who love dogs and love music. It is built on the bond achieved between dog and handler where training, teamwork, music, and creativity all combine in a unique performance. It is a mixture of basic training, tricks, and moving together to music. Freestyle is fun for all ages and breeds. It is also a great activity for therapy dogs to offer a little entertainment at their facilities.   

You don't have to be a dancer, you just have to enjoy working with your dog. The music and the dog will create the dance. 

Freestyle is for you if you:

• Want to enrich the communication and bond between you and your dog
• Love training and working with your dog 
• Have never done freestyle and want to learn
• Have some freestyle experience and want to increase your skills or get new ideas
